Anyone Travelling to Perth Australia June 2011 alone?????

hey james thats what i was thinking to do , maybe even get a flight to Fiji coz i have mated from there that i know!

think i'm going to start with a two week holiday then got some work and work for 3 months or so then head to the next place!

Im from Limerick, although yesterday someone asked me what part of Cork I'm from ha ha
I arrived about a week ago..trying to get a job now while doing some exploring. Awkard to book day trips though in case something workwise comes up.
I was a bit nervous when I got here and i was thinking what the hell am i after doing but a week in im delighted i went through with it! its so easy to meet people and get talking. what are your plans for sept?

im from cork and heading out 2 perth next cant wait 2 get out lol its almost looking back at ur 1st day of school again not knowing any one out there

We (3 guys, 25,25 and the bambino 21) flying into Perth on the 18th September, we have pen'd in sydney start of december and stay put for 3/4 months and hopefully be able to rent a house.

What we will do from middle of september to the start of december we're still a bit undecided, this whole trip has come about so randomly but saying that let the madness begin.

Can you recommend any hostels, places to see, whats the job situation like?

I'm travelling over to Perth on June 14th. On a working holiday visa also. Just booked a hostel for a few nites but will be looking for a houseshare soon after. Travelling solo also.
