Hi. I am just about to book my RTW trip for March 04, starting in s.america then onto Oz, but would like to stop in the pacific islands on the way. can anyone recommend a particular island in the pacific that is awesome and worth seeing above the others? heard fiji is very good but unsure of others. (don't have time to do them all unfortuntely!) probably 2 weeks there before I progress to Oz.

Bora Bora in Tahiti. Wonderful, magical, one of the best places ever.

Have to recommend Cook islands(NZ).
Raratonga and of course Aitutaki with it's wonderful lagoon.
Both Islands have good diving an amazing beutiful scenary.
