I was wondering if anyone had any experience at working at either or both of these destinations. Whistler or Banff/Sunshine
I have worked in ski industry for a bit so i should be able to find work.
Did people have any preferences of which they found is better? Or other suggestions.
We will be driving up from the West coast of the US as that is where we are starting our trip.

I don't have any experience with working, but having visited both in the last few weeks, I can say that I vastly prefer Banff; as a town it's much nicer, with a greater variety of things to do, better restaurants, and much more interesting scenery in the neighbourhood. Whistler felt like nothing so much as one big lifeless resort / shopping mall.
(But of course the big benefit of Whistler is that it's close to Vancouver, while the only big city Banff is close to is Calgary, which I was happy to leave behind after half a day.)
Yeah we will be heading to vancouver through our trip and was thinking banff.

Banff is lovely. We were there two years ago doing a tour and stopped in both Banff and Whistler. Whistler is like a big resort but not sure what's outside of it. Whereas with Banff you can go and explore. But we have a friend working in Whistler at the moment for the mountain biking season and she's loving it. Mind you she rides too.
