Jenny,
If you choose to tour all 4 countries, you roughly have 2 weeks in each. It can be done of course, but I don't think that plan is your best option. Here is what I would do with 8 weeks.

Thailand:
I will assume you will fly into BKK. I would allow 3 weeks for Tland. Several days in BKK, up north to Chiang Mai for trekking. Perhaps a few days over in Chiang Rai as well. Ayutthaya, Sukothai, Kanchanaburi, perhaps a few of the many National parks. Beach time down south is almost everybody list. You can choose which coast to choose. I suggest the Krabi area. There are many islands and beaches to choose a few hours from Krabi town. Railay Beach,
Koh Lanta & Koh Jum might be a few spots to look at. Others prefer the Samui side. Your decision.

VietNam:
Overnight bus or fly back to BKK. Fly Air Asia BKK-HAN. You can use the visa on arrival system since you are flying into VN. My blog talks about when I used the visa on arrival. I prefer the open tour bus system working your way down to HCMC. The open tour is cheaper, more convenient. Get on/off as many times as you want. that the VN train system. Train is safer however. Your choice. It will take 3-4 weeks to hit all the places to see between HaNoi & HCMC. There is also 3-4 days worth of sightseeing in HCM as well. I would take the bus over to Phnom Penh. My blog covers our trip a few years ago. PP has a few days worth of sightseeing, then bus or boat up to Siem Reap. Bus is cheaper, easier, boat has some photo ops. Your choice. Get the 3 day pass for Angkor Wat. I would allow 4-5 days for Siem Reap. Banteay Srei is not covered by your pass, but worth an afternoon IMO. Perhaps a tour on the Tonle Sap as well.

One long day overland back to BKK. A few days sightseeing before your flight home. I have left Laos out. You will have to shorten up your time in Tland & VN if you want to include Laos. Good luck with your planning.

Be careful not to come to Thailand first, or you might not see any other country!! Tons of people i know did this, and ended up staying for years!

Hello! Countries where you are going to travel are very interesting and I am sure you will enjoy during your travel. But do not forget that these countries have many dangers for travelers. First of all there are many ecological problems (due to number of industrialy polluted sites, poor population and small attention of local authorities on this problem). Secondly there is a difficuilt criminal situation. Thirdly extreme weather conditions (warmness, torrential rains etc) and seasonal disasters may occur there.
You should carefully prepare for these dangers to avoid bad travel. Such travel preparation is simple but you should not neglect it. Sometimes even a little preparation can help travelers to avoid big problems.
For your travel preparation you can use special websites like -snip- or similar. Be prepared and enjoy your travel!
