Hi guys,

We're landing in Split, Croatia on the 23rd August & need to be in Pula for the 1st September ... We want to do some diving (possibly the PADI advanced course) in that time ... do you have anything else that we must do before Pula?

We will be at a festival outside Pula from the 1st to the 4th then we have 2 days in Pula before heading home so we're only looking for stuff outside of Pula.

Any must do / see's?

Oh, Split is a great leaving point to visit the greatest Islands to see in Croatia. My personal recommendation are Hvar, Korcula and Vis, these are my top three to See. You have fast boats and ferries from Split for all destinations, and good connections from one Island to another. The timetables are bit of a mess, get some kind of a schedule, my choice was , a bit amateur work but all schedules in one place.
When you come to Hvar, please don't miss to leave on a tiny island just in fron of Hvar city. Small boats leave all day long, this was the most beautiful beach that i have ever seen. The sea was amazing :)
For the diving courses i really don't know, but visit this three, and you wan-t be dissapointed if you don't see anything else from Croatia!
When you go to Vis, please go to the other side of Island to see a small town Komiza, it,s just gorgeous and again take a route, they have travel agencies and something like taxi boats for Bisevo, an island in the nearby with the famous blue cave, this is something that leaves you speachless :)
And Korcula is amazing all together!
Enjoy, can i come with you again

Hi there!

For places to see in Istria (Pula) my recommendation is to visit smallest town in the world - Hum. Also, Svetvincenat is cool place inside Istria... If you are looking for good traditional food inside of Istria there are a lot of private held restaurants with accomodation. Go visit for example Pineta ( If still driving around and like to be more close to the sea, then Rovinj.

Enjoy and if you go to some of the places let me know how was it!
