Travelling from the UK to Melbourne in January, hopefully staying for a year to work. Pretty scared of doing this alone, is anybody else going to be there around that time?

Hi! well all ive done so far is sort my visa, soon i'll be booking flights and arriving mid January sometime, it would be great to know someone so let me know if you'll be in Melbourne around then 
Unless I get a job in Sydney, I'll be hitting Melbourne mid January And even if I do get a job in Sydney, I'll be in Melbourne by March if you think you'll still be around x
Yes! I plan to stay for at least 6 months so I think i'll still be there, let me know when you arrive!

lol...traveling alone is a great fun. I use to run away from home for a short 3-4 days travel :P
