Hey, getting to Bangkok on the 4th October to start off my travels, and heading to Phangan for the full moon party on the 12th. Anyone planning on being around these sort of dates? Very nervous/excited, but would be nice to have someone to share a full moon bucket with!

Thailand alone (and FMP) October 2011
Hi Lauren,my itinerary is pretty much based around the same stuff as yours.I arrive on 5th Oct in the morning(from KL) and plan to stay 2 nights in BKK,catch bus to Koh Tao on 7th in morning,spend 3 nights there(snorkelling,swimming ,enjoying the sun and jus chilling NOT diving), 10th-14th will be in Koh Phangan(4 nights) for the party, leave on 14th for phi phi and stay there 4 nights and then off to phuket for 2 nights after which i head back dwon to KL.
Was travelling with a friend,but just this morning he told me he couldnt make it.I
had booked/paid accommodation for 2 for the 2 nights in Bkk..and the 4 nights in phi phi..so if you interested we can chat more via fcbk/skype...
Ohh i was there last year same time and it was epic,have been looking forward to this trip since i left last year.

Hey your plans sound awesome, pretty much the same as me but a few days out/a few things the opposite way round. I've sorted my 2 hostels for Bangkok and where I'm staying during fmp but I don't have a time frame, just know after fmp I'm heading to Phuket/Phi Phi/Ko Lanta in whatever order then get a train from Krabi to KL around the 1st November. Is Koh Tao nice? I've heard good things and I'm really considering visiting.

Koh Tao is amazing ..last time i visited it was the only island i left out. everyone i met along the way,was like that was the biggest i had made ...lol..so i had to throw it the mix this time round,also heard its a tard cheaper than all them other islands..very much looking forward to it..i'd advise you to check it out if time is no issue..And yeah,i just remembered,last time i went to phi phi(last Oct) we had planned to go Koh Lanta as well but was told like Koh Lanta is not open to visits during this season i,e July-Nov 'coz of the rough seas or something along those lines,you may want to confirm before getting there...

HEY guys hope you doing good? Would be @ fmp too .. since traveling solo would be great to catch up with travel mates . Doing Bkk - surat thani - Koh samui on 11oct . further hiring to and fro speed boat to Koh Phangan ....No bookings yet except samui.. just plan to go with the flow.(Krabi , Phi Phi , Koh Lanta, phuket)

Been to south africa for a month for start of my travels, me and my mate are arriving in bangkok also on 4th october. We have booked up in a reccomended lodge for 3 nights in a popular travellers rd KHAO SAN RD.. then we getting a flight cambodia.. we have 4 months in asia travelling around then flying to aus mid jan. 2 guys from portsmouth, 26,28.. so hey hey let me no if ya up for a meet to settle the nerves of being alone. oh my gosh, portsmouth!? me too! I'm staying at napPark @ Khao San. I'm meeting up with a few people on the 4th for drinks hopefully, i'll add you to facebook and keep you updated if you fancy joining. And fingers crossed my best friend is actually changing her travel plans to be able to travel around with me so hopefully I'm not gonna be completely on my own now!
Nish- I'm staying next to the full moon beach for the party, if you're solo as well (I don't know if my friend will be with me or not) we should arrange to meet up

I really want to go to the FMP but, like you dont wanna go alone! I am getting into Ko samui on the 7th october and the 8th i want to travel out to ko tao for a couple of days snorkelling and relaxing! I have booked accomadation for ko samui but not ko tao yet!
I then want to head over to phangan on the 10th and was planning on staying until the 15th as most places make you stay for a certain number of nights! Was super cheap though!
I then am undecided whether to go back to ko samui for a couple of days or whether to head straight over to Krabi and eventually phi phi!

I got into Bangkok two days ago. You'll love Thailand. Have you booked accommodation for Phangan for the full moon party? Definately do it soon, places book up ridiculously fast apparently. I'm staying near the beach in Jaya guesthouse after Phangan I'm also planning on heading to Samui for a few days, apparently nightlife is off the chart so definately need to experience me some of that!
I'm planning on meeting a few people over on Phangan but there's gonna be so many people I'm keeping an open mind about actually being able to find anyone I know!
