Hey Forum!

Ok well this summer, I will be travelling to Paris, Venice, Rome, Milan, for approximately 5-6 days. Any advice on how much I should spend each day, hostels, disposable cell phones? (i am not sure if these exist), good sites, or the amount of time i should spend in these areas. Please keep in mind that I am on a VERY limited budget because I will be in london, amsterdam and cologne for world youth day 2005 in Germany so yes any good advice? And will there be any problems since I am 17 and will be turning 18 after the summer? alritey thanks

Are you going to all those places in only 5-6 days? You will be very strapped for time if you are. You should count on about 50 Euros a day for accomodation and living expences. Some hostels will require a written consent from your parents since you are not 18 yet. So have one with you, just in case.

I have to agree with angela and say that u are going to be very strapped for time, and travel between all these places is going to take you a good few days. U need at least 2 days in both Paris and Venice in order to see everyinng. Both of which are quite expensive as well. I think i ended up paying about £20 a night for accomm in Venice, and it wasnt particulary good. Unless you have lots of money then Milan isnt the best place to see in my opinion. There are lots of shops, but not a whole lot else.

Hope this helps some.

If you cannot spend more days in these 4 places, I would choose what to leave. For instance, try just Paris-Venice or Paris-Rome, or Paris-Venice-Rome, going to 4 places in 5-6 days, in my opinion, is not to travel, is just to move for one place to another.

If you r just gonna be in europe for 5-6 days I would pick 1 city and explore it. U can easily spend a week in Paris and Rome without even seeing everything and they are well worth the time. doing all those cities in such a short time pretty much mean getting in and getting out with out seeing anything. Bare in mind that During the summer The cities will be filled with tourists and que's for sites like the the Eifel Tower can take up half of your day. it would also be a good idea to book accomodation in advance for this reason.
