Syndey Novemeber and December 2011

heeey!!

im 22, female and travelling alone to sydney in november. im currently in thailand travelling and decided i dont want to go home yet (england) so decided to book a random one way flight to oz. i know no one there and have no idea what im going to do haha....pretty chilled about it really. but would be great to meet someone in the same boat?? im planning on staying in a hostel for a couple of nights when i arrive then maybe start looking for apparments, got told they work out cheaper when there for awhile. and probably get a job as well to help the funds!

hope to hear from someone soon that would like to meet up, or just anyone that could give me some advice about the country!

I'm heading to Thailand on the 26th Sept then on to Oz in Nov/Dec, also similar plans. Hoping to get a job and do some travelling. Went to Oz last summer and travelled the east coast - was amazing. Prob gona start off at a hostel in Manley and see what happens from there! I'm 24, female, from Sheffield. Just left my teaching job. can't believe I'm doing it in a few days!

I'm a 24 year old male from Canada and I'll be landing in Sydney on November 20th. I'll be in Oz for a year with a working-holiday visa. I plan on backpacking along the east coast staying in hostels and working part-time along the way. I'm booked at WakeUp for the first few nights but no set plans yet after that. i was looking at booking into wakeup as well i think then just seeing what happens from there. have you been before?
what are you planning on doing for christmas and new year? iv been told i need to book somewhere now cos they all fill up so quickly......

Hi All!

I'll be arriving in Sydney 15th December. Have just booked Wakeup hostel until the 26th(only avails left!) Planning on finding an apartment after that before NY! On a WHV - think Im going to work/live in Sydney 3/4 months then move on! Anyone in a similar position? Or anyone thinking of finding somewhere to live?
