Hi,
We are an Indian couple and would like to volunteer for a month (Jan 2012) in some South east Asian country, preferably in Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia or Laos. But we are not in a position to pay any hefty fees.

Hi, I've recently returned from Thailand, where I was teaching. It was completely free, and in one of the schools they even provided my food and accomadation! I did it through a charity called Isara, its a really great organisation and I would definitely reccomend it to anyone!

An American church organisation subsides an orphanage just outside Chiang Mai in Thailand. I visited once with friends who are committee members. They have two small bungalows for temporary volunteers on-site. See their website Libertykidz. PM me if you are interested.
