bus or fly with air asia?
Advice travel from bangkok to phenom penh please?
It depends on how long you to travel. If it's a short time in SE Asia, then I would fly. Otherwise taking a bus is the cheapest method.
I would fly this leg on Air Asia. If you are going to visit Siem Reap, bus up to SR and then you can go overland back to BKK. Read about the route here if you choose this option.
For a few extra dollars combined with the time saving then definately an Air Asia flight.
I hope to take the 3.25pm Air Asia flight next year then the bus on to Sihanoukville. Hopefully I'll be able to get the 1590 baht (about $53 Aust.) promo fare. But I'll fly regardless to avoid having to travel on buses over that distance.
Fly! Dont cross the border at Poipet its horrific especially at night. Very scary!
