Hey guys,

I'm planning a Euro jaunt, this is my basic outline:

Day 1:
Arrive Ljubljana.

Day 2:
Ljubljana.

Day 3:
Day trip to Bled.

Day 4:
early morning Bus to Zagreb/Zagreb.

Day 5:
Zagreb.

Day 6:
Train to Split (possibly overnight on day 5).

Day 7:
Split.

Day 7:
Travel to Dubrovnik/Dubrovnik.

Day 8:
Dubrovnik (some Beach time).

Day 9:
Dubrovnik (evening bus to Mostar).

Day 10:
Mostar.

Day 11:
Train to Sarajevo (epic scenery on the way apparenly).

Day 12:
Sarajevo.

Day 13:
Sarajevo to Belgrade (night train)??

Day 14:
Belgrade.

Day 15:
Leave Belgarde.

I understand this is a hectic schedule, however i am kinda hyper and want to fit a bit in.
This is an idea, really just want some feedback about feasability or things i have missed, must see's etc.
An example would be i am already contemplating dropping Zagreb and heading straight to the Croation coast from Ljubljana.
The start and finish cities are really my only dead certs as flights have been booked.

Regards Andy.

Happy travels :)

I have done almost the exact trip. Id suggest skipping Zagreb. Not much there really and quite boring. But in order to go from Ljub to Split, Im pretty sure you need to go to Zagreb anyway for a connection.

You will have long train rides. The train from Zagreb to Split is quite nice and coastal too. But I dont remember an overnight option.

And you basically have a day in each place! Thats Crazy. But do able.

I took the bus (2.5 hours) from Mostar to Sarajevo and it was amazing views on the right hand side.

Sarajevo to Belgrade is a long haul and I think only 2 a day both in the morning. 7am and I think around 11. Thats the one I took.

Check Bahn.de for train times

Check out Plitvice National Park which is 1 hour away from Zagreb. You will love it ;)
