Subscriber Notification Options

I've been having a great experience with Travellerspoint.

There are a couple of things I think would make the subscriber experience better that I can't find options for - so this if I've missed the settings please let me know - or consider for future feature updates.

1) TEASER TEXT - My subscribers get an email notification with the title, but none of the body text which would give them something to read to entice them to click. A lot more subscribers would click through if they had a paragraph or two to tease the full post.

2) NOTIFICATION OPTIONS - I tend to post to my blog in flurries. I'll post 3 to 5 entries all at once, catching up for a few days experiences. If I notify my subscribers of each post, they will get 3 to 5 notifications within an hour. Also, each notification links only to that post - not to the home page or to a list of the most recent posts. It would be better if subscribers had the option of getting "instant", "daily" or "weekly" updates of the posts made during each of those periods. Or if the administrator had the option of sending the notification with a link _either_ to the specific post or just to the home page.

Good points. Will take into consideration.

You can somewhat work around the second one by instead scheduling your posts, so even if you have it ready you just set it to post the next day (do this by editing the posting time). Not necessarily what you're after, but a decent option.
