Going to Disneyland in Florida with my parents when I was Four. I had a Donald Duck hat which squeaked when you squeezed the peak. goofy stole it off of me and wouldn't give it back for about half an hour. = (

I went on camping trips several times a year with my family starting at the age of 3 or 4, so they all kind of blend together for me.

The first real trip we went on was to Disneyland when I was 10. It my first time on a plane as well.

My favourite experience of the trip was Universal Studios. The Earthquake and Backdraft rides had just opened (gives you an idea how long ago this trip was )

There are two major things that stand out for me about that trip though:

1) Crossing the border from San Diego to Tijuana, nearly losing my family in the chaos and then being accosted by beggers and touts the second we crossed into Mexico.

2) Sitting down to lunch and watching my brother spray the ceiling, the table, and me with ketchup. He was shaking the bottle and he didn't check to see if the lid was screwed on first. Whoops!!
