Hi everyone,
I'm a complete newbie here and chanced upon the site running google searches :) Congrats to the ppl who built it and maintain it - this was one of my ideas that never took off ;)
Anyway, my conundrum is whether it makes sense to take a cruise through the mediterranean in mid feb. What is the weather like at sea around that time? If I do go, I'll start in Genoa, Italy and visit a couple places in Greece, Turkey and Egypt. What is the normal tourist season there?

Also, I'm finding it relatively easier to book accomodation in the Riviera during the same time period. Is that also off season there? What kind of temps are we talking about?

Thanks in advance for the help.

- Roy

Hi in february i can tell you that in Genoa will be quite cold !

I mean you can get from 0 to 10 celtius degree... while in Greece and turkey you'll get 5 degrees more.

For me the best for a cruise in mediterran sea it's MAY!

Good trip !

As for temperature, on my point it is not a problem: places are wonderful all the same, people is less, and prices are cheaper. I have not experience about sailing; maybe you could get a bad sea.. if you can choose, I suggest to go during the last part of March, or in April.
