Looking for travel buddy to see Thailand with june/july

Hello,
Throughout June i am volunteering a school near bangkok for approximately 3 weeks. after this i wish to travel thailand but as a female on my own who has never really travelled (except with family) before i am a bit nervous, despite being very excited, at the thought of it.
is anyone else planning to do something similar around that time who also wants company? i am easy going, flexible and willing to go anywhere and try anything.
or if not, does anyone have any advice about how to go about finding a travel buddy either before going or once im there?

Hey! I have just created an account on here so bear with me! I'm andy and going away to do Thailand, Laos and Cambodia alone travelling this summer! Leaving UK 16th June and return 8th August! I will be in Bangkok from Monday 18th June and will be staying until 16th August. I want to go to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. It would be awesome to share some or all of this trip with some people!

You will find many travel buddies but I think they are not trusted persons, so going with family is a nice advice.

Hey sweetie! I'm Kaz and i'm a 22 year old brit that has more then had enough of miserable England, So i'm looking to start an adventure as of the 22/06/12 with a very flexible plan put into place. This is because i want the freedom of no planning, so I can really get my teeth into the world! So i'm lierally happy to go anywhere and do anything(within reason) so If you're still looking for some company then let me know. i know it's a scary prospect going alone and it would just be nice to have someone to share the awesome times with!

i'm Darren, 28 and from Manchester. Me and my best friend Tom will be arriving in Bangkok on the 1/7/12. we are looking to stay in Thailand for around a month. we are both terrible for planning. All we know for sure. is we want to see as much as we can. and have as much fun as possible.
We did 2 months in North America last year, it was AMAZING! now that was an english speaking country. the only thing that scares me a little. is the language barrier. i wish i would have tried to learn a few phrases, but being a typical bloke, and british, we sort of assume everybody wil speak english!!!
Anyways, we are nice guys, and we're on a mission to try and meet as many of the 7 billion people on this planet, as we possibly can! So anybody that fancies meeting for a an hour, day, week or more. then feel free to do so. really not bothered if your male or female. young or old or black or white. we just love to laugh. and its served me well in my life so far.
