Hi guys!!!
I'm thinking of going to Barcelona on January!! People tell me that Barcelona is the most beautiful city in Spain...what do you think? I bought a guide (LonelyPlanet) so I know typical and touristic places...
My hotel is near to Picasso Museum (BORN). My friend was there last year and he has recommended some places and restaurants. For example: Cal Pep, El Xampanyet, Can cargol and -snip-
Thanks!! Your comments are welcome

Hello!
I'm a girl from Barcelona doing some sightseeing here. I studied Tourism at university and now, I'm looking to show the city to tourists. I do free tours, I just ask for a tip if you enjoyed
When are you comining to Barcelona? Would you be interested in a walking tour around?
Cheers

I loved Barca (we were there in the summer) and one of my favorite things was to stroll up and down the beach. People watching mainly, getting some sun and surf, and seeing some of the fun architecture: Frank Gehry's fish, the crooked house (both in the Port Olympic end of the beach).
La Rambla is a great street to wander down, but if you get the chance, take yourself on a detour one or two streets away. Sometimes, the smaller back streets are full of amazing sights as well.
I also have to confess that my friends and I spent something like a full hour at one particular stall in La Rambla. It was all candy.
Have fun and safe travels!

Visit the old town, the Ramblas de las Flores, the port and museum,
el Pueblo EspaƱol, Tibidabo, the Sagrada Familia. And if you're not out of breath yet, take a short trip to the monastery of Montserrat
