check this video out! :) -snip-

Well, I am a Filipina and I have experienced most of what this video has shown! And I am more excited to fully explore more of what this country has got! My boyfriend from Australia and I will be travelling next year to Puerto Princesa, Cebu and Siargao (beaches mostly because he's a surfer), and hope fully Bali Indonesia by 2014.

Hope travelers in Asia can join us! :)

No promos?!

Not to mention that, respectfully, she is wrong. PI compared to most other SE Asian countries, has terrible infastructure to travel in and around the country. Travel from Manila to Luzon to my wife's country home is less than 150 miles. Still takes 6-8 hours, if there is not a break down or accident to delay further. Unacceptable in a country like that and not to mention commerce. Such an impediment to commerce.
Then once you get to your destination there are not a variety of choices for lodging. Again, you do the comparison should you doubt me. Lodging will be hundreds of $$ or a very poor place for 50-80 $ that in most SEAsian countries would run you 10-20$. There is little middle ground that is actually worth the money Manila is the same way, nice expensive hotels or hotels that 100+ that normally would run 40-50 a night. No middle ground.

I like the Philippines, it's just so hard to travel in and when travelling, like many other travelers, we want to stretch our $$'s and get the most out of it. Can't do that in PI, in comparison.

You are responding to an eight year old post.

(In the P.I. I have been able to find cheap accommodation with A/C, hot water and private bathroom. In Manila I stay in the Ermita area.)
