Me and a friend are looking to travel around America for three months in summer of 2014.
Does anyone have any suggestions of the best route to take, where to start and finish etc.
We would like to try to go to every state, and as cheaply as possible.
We will be driving around, and flying from the UK. Does anyone know of the cheaper places to fly into in the US?
And does anyone have a list of things that we cannot miss!

From the UK, the cheapest places to fly into in the US are New York (New York) or Charlotte (North Carolina).

You could spend a lifetime going around America and not see it all,any chance of breaking it up and doing America east one year and America west the second year.
From UK starting in New York would probably be the logical starting point.
