Hey Buffalo,

If you are really looking to have a nice advice, then I would love to give the best suggestions.

1) For North side- Perfect time of year is to visit Himachal Pradesh because it is a wonderful place to been here. I would also suggest you to visit Jammu & Kashmir at the same time. For South side- I would recommend you to visit the one & only Kerala because it is known as "Gods own Country".

2) This can be done at your starting point of your coming out from your lovely home. Just make this done from your end because getting Visa from Mumbai airport is very difficult.

3) I would suggest you to visit Agra( Taj Mahala ).

4) Nowadays, you would not find any kind of issues, Because my cousin & his friendy from London travelled for 2 months as an unmarried couple and no one cared. India is very nice country. Have fun, it's a pretty wild place. :)

If you're sorted with your visa, and head south - do visit Kerala. Since you've mentioned you'd be there in August, don't miss the Aranmula Snake Boat Races that are held at Ponmudi. You gotta be a local to participate but watching the skilled men row with synced precision, participating in their chants and singing with the locals is more than fun. And i bet you'd be planning an Ooty trip too. There are boathouse meals that you'd be interested in. Speaking of North, again there'a a lot to not miss again. From Kullu-Manali to Leh-Ladakh. Hope you've planned well for your trip. Have any queries then do feel free to post to us. Happy Journey.
