Selling stuff to travel is such a freeing move. You realize how much energy your things actually hold once you let them go. I did something similar before heading to El Salvador, sold my old gear, kept only essentials, and it felt like clearing a bottleneck in my own life. Less clutter, more freedom, and every peso I made turned into a sunrise on a beach instead of dust in a garage.
