TRAVEL BUDDIES WANTED - TRAVELLING TO AMERICA - 2014

Hey, Thanks for taking the time to read ....

I’m 23 and looking to go travelling next March 2014.

I will be travelling alone so be nice to know people in the same boat as me and be nice to have a travelling buddy.

As it states in the subject my first destination will be America, please contact me if you would like to meet up here in the UK before travelling and maybe we could meet up put there. As a female its nice to know someone ....

No current plans set in place but any advice would be much appreciated.

You mentioned America, I am also thinking about travelling the US.

I have been thinking Bout doing Route 66, but have heard different options!

So I guess we are in the same boat, no plans set in stone, but wanting t travel the US! Haha

Well originally the plan was to travel somewhere, get a daft bar job to keep me going and pretty much explore!

I'm open for anywhere if I'm honest, Route 66 was just an idEa.

Yeah my plan is to get a little job to help fund as i go ....

Yeah Route 66 would be amazing ...

Im think there are a few trips to go on ... as in group trips which actually covers a lot of US, but then again they are costly.

When are you roughly looking to go?

Yeah Route 66 offers main attractions such as the Grand Canyon, which I would like to see! I also like the thought of the little ghost towns, little Texas towns and that as wel!

It would probably be next year now, but I have been saving to go for a while now, so I could go any time now really I'm open for ideas! Haha.

Not sure if this fits with either of you (as nothing is set in stone with your plans yet) but I fly in to LA on 17.02.14 for two weeks then travel by land to San Diego (booked a hostel there from 01.03.14 for 2 weeks) then travelling to vegas for 22.03.14!
Would be great to find some people up for a road trip!

You still planing on traveling around the US in March. Im a Texan that will be driving my truck from Portland Oregon to Austin Tx from the begging of February to april. I live out the back of my truck and will be spending most of the time in National Parks or like places. I have a tent that anyone can use (i sleep in the bed of my truck. Dont know what your plans are but if your anywhere close by I can give you a lift somewhere.
