Hi,
I am flying out to Sydney on the 12th October, anyone else around during this time? Any recommendations what Hostel to stay in? Travelling alone and would be good to meet other people travelling the same time.

I haven't booked a hostel yet but I'm planning on doing so in the next couple of days. I was going to book the Wake Up hostel but also looking at Base hostel at the moment as I've heard good things from a couple of friends.
What hostels have you been looking at?
Everything I've read says wake up and base are two of the best hostels in Sydney. I've got my first week in Australia booked at wake up! I'm arriving the end of October! So soon!

Yeah sounds good to me, I've booked the Wake up hostel so will be there from the 14th October.
I'll be in Brisbane around 21st November for the cricket and to see the local sites for a few days - come along if you fancy it
