Wouldn't think of it - we're the same way with ours.

Hmmm. i love books. anything that is witty or touching. i am currently reading the tipping point. its about how little things make a big difference. i usually read a few books at the same time, but lately i have been cramming for my exams so i havent had the chance to hunt for new books to read. i use to read three or four books a week, because i am an insomniac. i tried to start a book club with my friends, but they just end up borrowing my books never to be seen again. which i dont mind because my library is quite full as is.

i could never live without books, they're a form of escape, dreaming and exploring without ever moving, i love to buy old second hand books that besides the escape of the book you wonder who the previous owners were, but i also hate to throw out books including the ones that didn't entertain me as much as i thought they would, i have a few bookshelves full in our little apt but i also still have loads in boxes and on shelves in my dads house.... someday i'll gather them all together and lock myself away in my room with them all.....

Wasn't it during the holocaust that this saying came?

"When you burn books, you burn people"

Reading a book make me escape from my reality, become me in hero, archeologist, marine biologist, pilot, queen or in Cinderella...for me, it's the best way to learn and dream. I can't stop reading...during my office time i read a lot of medical articles and in my free time i always choose for the occasion...currently i'm reading "sin destino"("without destine" by Imre Kertesz) and the next week i'll start "Seven years in the tibet" (someone in this forum has mentioned before)-it means for me that i'll be travelling around Lasha next week...:)
