I am in Buenos Aires until April 3rd and then thinking about a trip down to Puerto Madryn. I think the main penguin season ends in March and that the whale season isn't until June? SO, is there any point in travelling the 18 hours by bus there, and then the 24 hour bus to Mendoza after a few days? Not to mention the £200. Or should I skip it and bus it from BA to Mendoza (maybe stopping along the way at Cordoba etc) or a 2 hour flight for £127.
Originally I wanted to include Bariloche too, but the distance from PM there and then up to Mendoza is LONG and also going to be around the £200 mark. So I have decided to scrap Bariloche.
