Traveller vs. Tourist
The difference between traveller and tourist is quite easy.
A traveller doesn´t know where he or she is going.
A tourist doesn´t know wherre he or she went.

In theory there is a difference, in practice they both visit exact the same countries, cities, places and what ever. The spanish costas are probably less 'touristy' than the Inca Trail, of which 'travelers' say they have been there.
