You must pay a visit to the northeastern tip of the Aegean, the archipelago that gave birth to the European civilisation if you want to see evergreen mountains and taste some of the best products the Greek soil (and sea) can offer! Key point locations, even from the ancient times, which defined the borders and other ways of communication between Europe and the East.

Weather

The North Aegean region has a Mediterranean climate with dry and warm summers, and mild but wet winters. Temperatures during summer are mostly around 30 °C with balmy nights. Winters see highs of around 15 °C. Most of the annual 750mm of rain falls from November to March.
