Getting There

By Plane

The closest international airport is Tuzla International Airport, about hour by car.

By Train

There are two train stops in town: Petrovo Novo (main train station) and Petrovo (train stop), or Lužani as it is called by locals. There is one local train line to and from Doboj (DOBOJ-PETROVO NOVO) and two train lines to and from Tuzla (DOBOJ-TUZLA).

You could see the official train times. Note: The site does not have an English version.

For using this site you need to first choose Petrovo Novo or Petrovo in the available section called "Izaberite stanicu/stajalište". You need to know that "Vrijeme Dolaska" means "Arriving time" and "Vrijeme Odlaska" means "Departure Time".

By Car

Petrovo is connected with the M4 motorway (Tuzla-Doboj) with rest of the country.

Getting Around

By Car

A car is not necessary in the town itself.

By Public Transport

Limited outside of the school year and at weekends.

By Foot

Very suitable since this town is very small and in the valley.

By Bike

No bike shop or bike rent here but it is a nice way to go to the main touristic sites just outside of town.

There are no hotels in Petrovo. Some guesthouses are located nearby in the countryside.

Keep Connected

There is no internet café, but limited wifi is sometimes available.
