I've traveled extensively throughout Southern Africa and a little bit through East Africa. My most recent African travels have taken me to South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana and Mozambique. I have also been to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya and Mauritius. I'm happy to help with any questions someone might have. And if I can't answer your questions, my husband might be able to...he was a safari guide throughout Southern and East Africa! Happy Travels!

Spent many months in Mali, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, and have driven three times down from France to Bamako, Mali through Morocco, WS and Mauritania. It's unfortunate but the political situation in West Africa has throttled the life out of the joy of travelling this route.

I am glad to be part of Africa travel helpers. As a travel enthusiast, I have travelled in Kenya, Uganda, Greece, Norway, Danmark, Sweden, Canary Islands and of course across Tanzania, my own country. I would like to consider myself a Tanzanian travel expert. I've been facilitating transcontinental expeditions in africa since '04. If you need help with route planning, local support, security/health or adventures off the beaten path I am quite familiar with egypt, sudan, ethiopia, kenya, tanzania, malawi, zambia, botswana, namibia and south africa.

I am an African travel journal writer and editor. I am extensively conversant with Egypt, Eastern Africa, Southern Africa, Seychelles and Mauritius.

I am an experienced nutritionist and manager with a MPH and a Master in Training and Development with fifteen years experience working in emergency relief and strong computer and financial skills. I have worked in Somalia and Sudan (1993- 1994) supervising programs for child survival, water and sanitation, immunizations, and food for work. In Angola (1991- 1992) I trained traditional birth attendants and community health workers in nutrition and primary care and oversaw therapeutic and supplemental feeding programs. I also worked in West Africa ,Central America and Colombia with the U.N. (1985- 1991) supervising food for work programs and refugee camps management with a focus on accessing the most vulnerable populations. I speak Spanish, English and I am familiar with Portuguese and Arabic

I am very knowlegable in The East African Region. I can give good places to visit and places to see, be it mountaineering, beaches, safaris, Urban life etc.

I lived and worked in Ghana, West Africa but i travelled in Mali, Burkina Faso and briefly visited Togo so can advise on the region generally, safety issues, language and cultural issues and recommend good places to visit and/or stay.
