We walked back past The Rose Inn, across the bridge to the Beck Isle Museum, paid and entered. They have a bit of everything including entire rooms and historic shop interiors. The outside features antique farm equipment in the back and a lovely view of the bridge and Pickering Beck (river) in the front. This area was badly flooded in 2007 and there are photographs in the museum of the flooding. It is called Beck Isle because the museum is literally on an island during high water. My uncle had a stereopticon when I was tiny and looking at the old pictures in 3-D was fascinating.
