Notre Dame de Paris - Stained Glass, France

The Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris is the most visited monument in France. The glorious Gothic church was begun in 1163, when Pope Alexander III laid the foundation stone and wasn’t completed until 1345. It was devastated by fire in April of 2019. They are in the process of restoration so I'm glad I took many photos over the years before the fire. We visited a few days after the fire and saw much of the destruction . . . heartbreaking. Fortunately the three large rose windows were saved.
