Okinawa soba by ilyushin
Soba is buckwheat noodles in mainland Japan, but in Okinawa soba (or suba in Ryuku language) is made from wheat flour. Beside soba is jūshī (cooked rice with vegitables and seasoning).

Dolphin steak by ilyushin
Dolphin (hītu or pitu in Ryukyu language) is not common food nowadays, but you will find some restaurants with dolphin dishes in northern Okinawa. This steak, although meat is sliced thin, is cooked with lots of garlic as the meat itself is bloody.

Kouri Bridge, a view from Yagaji Island by ilyushin
This 1960m bridge connects Kouri Island with neighboring Yagaji Island. Construction was due to be finished in 2002, but the difficult construction method delayed the opening to 2005.
