Periwinkle Cottage Tea Room on Selworthy Green by Beausoleil
Recently reopened, Periwinkle Cottage is a lovely tea room facing onto Selworthy Green. They serve tea and light lunches. There are also some gift items that are all by local artists and craftspeople who live and work in Exmoor and the surrounding villages. They are part of the Exmoor Arts Trail.

Organ and Wagon Roof at St. Catherine's Church by Beausoleil
Originally the chapel of a Clunaic Priory, the original church dates to Norman times. However, the current church seems to date to the 13th century. The wagon roof is beautiful and the organ was restored in 1981. Parts of the original church are visible in the garden if you check the church web site for information.

Walking back to Montacute House - more wisteria by Beausoleil
This was right at the corner where you turn to go into Montacute House. The entire village is beautiful and just past this place is the entrance to the National Trust site and a rental on the grounds of Montacute House. That would be fun!

Walking from Montacute House to The Kings Arms Inn, we passed St. Catherine's Parish Church. After lunch we stopped in for photos but on the way, we were looking for lunch.
