Petit Fort with the Hospital in the background by Beausoleil
This is one of the sights listed on the official town walk you get at the tourist office. Between here and the hospital you see in the background (tower), there is a terrace with fabulous views of the countryside.

It has been under French ownership since June 23, 1375 and is currently owned by the family Delautre. Château at the top of Rocamadour by Beausoleil
The Château is privately owned and not open to the public but you can pay a fee to walk the ramparts with incredible views. There are many incredible views in the immediate area so you may want to save your money.

La Cité de Carcassonne from a distance by Beausoleil
The fortified city on a hill. This is one of the grandest sights in France. You can see it on the A61 as you zip by, but don't zip by, stop and enjoy a truly wonderful experience. Yes, it is crowded but it has always been crowded so your experience will be authentic.
