Pavillon Davioud in the Luxembourg Gardens by Beausoleil
In July and August in the Davioud Pavilion of the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Senate offers, free of charge, exhibitions of paintings, sculptures or photographs. The exhibitors absorb the costs of the partitions that the Senate installs for them and their own insurance. Each exhibitor is allocated a space of 90 m² for a period of 14 days as their sole responsibility. Nearly a million bees are foraging around the seventeen hives of the Rucher du Luxembourg (rucher meaning apiary). Each year they produce about 450 pounds of honey which is collected and sold every Autumn at the Orangerie du Luxembourg just a few minutes walk up the garden path. The hives have a color code on them not just for human benefit but the bees will associate with these so that they go back to their specific hive, and although these are the modern beehives, there are historical ones called skeps preserved within the Pavillon Davioud, which is where the beekeepers office, the school and the honey extraction centre are located. Not many people realize that bees do need water so there is a water fountain in the same style as the beehives designed specifically for the bees. It’s located in the middle of the enclosure with all the hives surrounding. Bees are thriving in Paris due to a policy of not using pesticides within any public gardens or parks.

Beningbrough Hall and Gardens by Beausoleil
Beningbrough Hall is a large Georgian mansion near the village of Beningbrough, North Yorkshire, England, and overlooks the River Ouse. It has baroque interiors, cantilevered stairs, wood carving and central corridors which run the length of the house. Externally the house is a red-brick Georgian mansion with a grand drive running to the main frontage and a walled garden, The house is home to more than 100 portraits on loan from the National Portrait Gallery. It has a restaurant, shop and garden shop. The Hall is set in extensive grounds and is separated from them by an example of a ha-ha (a sunken wall) to prevent sheep and cattle entering the Hall's gardens or the Hall itself. Outside the main building there is a Victorian laundry and a walled garden with vegetable planting, the produce from which is used by the walled garden restaurant. It includes a wilderness play area, community orchard, an Italianate border and a garden shop.

Bohol Bee Farm's Painting by chiefstingy
The food at Bohol Bee Farm Resort and Restaurant is one of the best cusine experiences you could have on the Island of Bohol. The whole farm is fully organic and all the foods cooked at the restaurant are grown or farmed there. You can take a tour of the farm and learn about how it works there. They even make thier own crafts from the plants around to help reduce any waste.

ITALY_Treviso drinking by vanessa
Drinking in Veneto: PROSECCO - a Dry or Extra Dry white sparkling wine made from Glera ("Prosecco") grapes. Venetians consider Prosecco an ideal apperitivo or ombrette (pick-me-up). APEROL is the perfect aperitf. As coffee time, which is one of the main after-lunch ceremonies, the 'aperitivo' before the evening meal, its absolutely an adequate and enjoyed tradition since the Romans. APEROL SPRITZ - it's probably the most popular drink in Veneto. BEER is less popular in Italy, but exists. The best known Italian beer: "la Peroni". And finally GRAPPA - uniquely Italian drink, has been around since the Middle Ages. For generations, Italians have sipped this "firewater" after meals and even added a little to their morning espresso, to "correct" it.
