Eglise Saint Sulpice in Paris - waiting for the recital to start by Beausoleil
Saint Sulpice has one of the most magnificent organs in Paris and we took full advantage of living nearby for a month. We always arrived at concerts and recitals early so we could get good seats. Two of the concerts had the advantage of a large-screen television in the front of the church so you could actually see the organist while he performed. That was wonderful.

Kiosque à Musique du Luxembourg - a small concert goer by Beausoleil
They have concerts most weekends at the Luxembourg Gardens and they always draw a crowd. This was definitely a family affair and there were lots of cute little kids there enjoying the music and enjoying the gardens.

Kiosque à Musique du Luxembourg - a Saturday band concert in the park by Beausoleil
We rented an apartment a block from Saint Sulpice Church and a half block from the Luxembourg Gardens and took full advantage of both. The church and the gardens have a full schedule of concerts of all kinds of music. This particular one was a typical Saturday afternoon band concert in the park. They are just as popular now as they were when I was a kid.

Concert in the Luxembourg Gardens by Beausoleil
Every Sunday there is a concert of some sort in the Luxembourg Gardens so we always wander over to see what is happening. This was a community chorus and they seemed to be having a grand time.

Les Voix de la Roche singing in l'Eglise d'Ainhoa by Beausoleil
The local bartender told us about the male chorus on tour that was singing at the nearby church so we walked up and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful concert. We noticed his waiter appeared later after his work was done.
