This friendly fellow followed our ferry for nearly the entire length of Lake Windermere by Beausoleil
Soon after our ferry departed the terminal at Bowness, this friendly gull decided to follow us. He managed to keep up with the ferry nearly the entire way to Lakeside. Once he stopped for something but was soon back beside us. Needless to say, we were all taking his picture.

Toropets - a view from the downtown by Irinna
Toropets - the historical city (is known since the 11th century) located on the river Toropa among lakes. It's special feature - a great number of gulls.

ITALY_Chioggia - meeting on the roof by vanessa
Here is a management meeting. Seagulls - especially large ones- are resourceful, inquisitive and intelligent birds, demonstrating complex methods of communication and a highly developed social structure.

ITALY_Chioggia - gulls by vanessa
In Chioggia we had a "the room with view". It was very much upstairs (like 6th or 7th level), but we had a window to the canal. When fisherman's boats return from the sea we could watch the traffic from our room. Gulls guarded fish-boats - kind of friendship with interest. Gull traffic increased proportionally to boat-traffic on the canal. Sometmes it seem that birds were going to enter into the opened window - so fast they cut the sky.
