Marrakesh bus station touts by Bennytheball
A recognition picture of a couple of typical Marrakesh bus station touts offering unofficial ( and therefore illegal) tours of the Medina or other services of a dubious nature, there are various techniques to deflect the advances of these unwelcome people who can spoil a tourist's enjoyment of any particular location, the best way is to completely ignore them and continue walking, if possible.

A Marrakesh street along which are located street kitchens leading onto Place des Ferblantiers ( the tinsmiths' Souk)...a cheap meal delivered by helpful pleasant waiters and cooks, with no overcharging on the bill, something of an anomaly in the mean streets of Marrakesh....

A caleche clatters past the famous old Hotel Grand Tazi, Avenue el Mouahidine, an inexpensive hotel on the edge of the Medina and only a five minute walk to the main Medina square, Djemma el Fna, bar and restaurant on street level are open to the public, and swimming pool on the roof for cooling off in the intense summer heat, my regular budget accommodation anytime I'm passing through.
