Poem by Rimbaud engraved on the wall of rue Henry de Jouvenel by Beausoleil
Le Bateau ivre (The Drunken Boat) is a poem written in 1871 by Arthur Rimbaud. The wall is a monument to him and the annual Poesie Market is held in the square next to it in front of Eglise Saint Sulpice.

The Poesie Market in front of Eglise Saint Sulpice by Beausoleil
The Poesie Fair in Paris is a favorite even though it manages to cover up one of my favorite fountains. There are poets, publishers, readings and lots of fun all in beautiful Paris.

O Travellers! by GregW
O travellers from somewhere else to here, Rising from Sheffield Station and Sheaf Square To wander through the labyrinths of air, Pause now, and let the sight of this sheer cliff Become a priming-place which lifts you off To speculate What if…? What if…? What if…? Could-shadows drag their hands across the white; Rain prints the sudden darkness of its weight; Sun falls and leaves the bleaching evidence of light. Your thoughts are like this too: as fixed as words Set down to decorate a blank façade And yes, as words are too, all soon transferred To greet and understand what lies ahead – The city where your dreaming is re-paid, the lives which wait unseen as yes, unread. Yeats Grave by guertinj
Not the best photo, but it captures the grave of WB Yeats in Ireland. An amazing poet and spokesman for Ireland. No one knows for sure what the engraving means.
