Atelier des Lumières - Van Gogh Show in Paris by Beausoleil
This is Van Gogh's "The Church at Auvers" which is one of my favorites. We were planning to visit Auvers to see the church and area next September but the corona virus may make this impossible. We'll get there someday. The Atelier des Lumières is in a former foundry building. It was opened in 2018 as an interactive art space. We were there in June of 2019 and there were three shows, Van Gogh, the Starry Night; Japan Dreamed, Images of the Floating World; and Verse which was very short. You see all three and can walk around or sit or even lie on the floor if you wish. Photography is allowed but no flash which would ruin the show. It's a fascinating experience. Reservation only.

Château Chambord Equestrian Show, The Death in Battle Chapter by Beausoleil
This started with knights fallen in battle lying on the ground with vultures on them. One of the vultures flew over to the stands and landed practically in my lap. It was a little more intimidating than an owl I had encountered at Château Milandes in the Dordogne several years ago. Perhaps owls just look more friendly . . .

Château de Chambord Equestrian Show - Entrance of the King and Queen by Beausoleil
There was much fanfare and the King and Queen entered. TV3 was there filming on this trip so everyone was outdoing themselves. We were fortunate enough to get seats beside the King and Queen (and TV3) so got great views of the show.

Château de Chambord, Entrance to the Equestrian Show behind the château by Beausoleil
You walk behind the stunning château to find this arena, walk along the wall to the entrance and wait until you are escorted into the arena. There are seats while you wait and it's fun to watch them prepare the horses.
