Meneham Folk Museum (Ecomusée) - Tourist information by Beausoleil
We went to visit the ecomusée at Meneham on a gorgeous day in autumn. The most fun building was a 17th-century coastguard’s cottage with stone roof tucked between two huge rocks. It was built to spy on the sea in the period when France and England were at war. The village behind is of a later date, built in part to house customs men trying to stop smuggling. Later, farmers moved in, but in the last century it all fell to ruin until it was turned into a folk museum. They have tourist information, local crafts, foods and beverages and a very nice restaurant that includes outdoor dining. There are walks along the shore and beautiful beaches.

Eiffel Tower Mania at Place du Trocadéro by Beausoleil
We had lunch on the Place du Trocadéro and then walked over to see the Eiffel Tower. You pass a lot of tourists, tourist shops, buskers and various sellers of souvenirs before you get to the tower but it's all great fun. It may be the perfect place for photos and certainly for selfies if you take those.

Tourist Shop in Aigues-Mortes by Beausoleil
The town is full of tourist shops including candied fruits, nougats, various candies, tee shirts and nearly anything else touristic. The nougats and candied fruits are highly recommended . . . tee shirts not so much.
