LOW ISLES - boat by Araluen
Low Isles is a pristine coral cay island on the Great Barrier Reef and are a Marine National Park Zone. Day visitors can come to the island via a number of commercial operators. There is a lagoon where private vessels can moor or anchor overnight, but there is no overnight accommodation on the island. There is a weather station, a lighthouse and the University of Queensland's research station. There are two islands - Woody Island and Low Island, but it is to Low Island that the visitors come. Low Island is a "typical" tropical island - just like you see on the movies. It is a smaller vegetated, sandy, coral cay surrounded by 55 acres of reef. No fishing is allowed in the lagoon or within a buffer zone around the islands.

NZ Bay of Islands by Araluen
There are 144 islands in the Bay of Islands together with some of New Zealands most beautiful waterways. It formed when the sea drowned a number of river valleys, creating an irregular and attractive coastline of more than 800 km. Today, it is a popular resort for both locals and tpurists alike, and being in a sub-tropical climate zone, the bay of Islands has warm humid summers and mild winters. Sailing, cruises around the islands and Russell and a trip to Cape Reinga are just some of the attractions.

Penny Royal World - Fort Island by Araluen
Penny Royal World was an historical fun park in Launceston, Tasmania with a 19th century flavour. There was the Royal unpowder mill, re-erected windmill and a reconstructed watermill , boat with canon which were fired at certain times of the day.
