wandering around Luang Namtha town one day, I photographed a mechanics workshop where some men were working on a truck. When i asked if I could take some picture, the mother came out with her children and requested some portraits. She was initially shy, but eventually got more relaxed. I have the obligatory 'smile' as well, but like this one better

Children in remote Khmu village by Kees5
I visited this village with two guides, doing a preliminary survey to identify possible routes for new eco-tourism treks.
