West Wittering beach - such a gorgeous place for a restorative walk. Although the weather was pretty ominous, not a drop of rain fell on me (lucky!).

My gorgeous Airbnb for the weekend! I had the entire loft space, bedroom, bathroom - together with a flat screen tv and tea and coffee making facilities. A real treat :)

Berlin by Lets go to.....
The Jewish Museum. Well worth the entry fee to see inside this iconic building. Can be large queues to get in. I waited until the end of the day and just walked in. Probably need about 1-2 hours to see everything. On-site cafe, serving snacks and drinks.

Berlin by Lets go to.....
There is some great graffiti in Berlin, and some not so great. I took myself off on a graffiti walk, no set route, I just wandered about, which was fun, and I found some real stunners, including this angel.

My Airbnb in Kreuzkoln. I chose this area because its not in the centre but is an 'up and coming area' near to many of the sites. There was easy access to and from the centre by bus (as well as being able to walk in). The space was great - bedroom, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom - I loved it.

I always like to explore the local area when I arrive in a new city, and found this on my first day. It was a gorgeous little cafe, serving amazing cakes - nice to stop and watch the world go by for a bit, and recover from my very early start!

Amsterdam by Lets go to.....
Really loved the light festival last year, my first time, so return visit! There is no better way to see the light show, and enjoy Amsterdam, than a leisurely boat trip.

Amsterdam by Lets go to.....
Booked a place on a KINBOAT. These are much smaller open boats, not the usual covered tourist boats - ideal to see all the lights. The captains are friendly, and knowledgeable, and there are hot drinks as well as blankets on board. Bloody cold though, wear all your clothes! Takes about an hour.
