This old house in Kopachi in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, was one of many to be abandoned when the village was evacuated after the nuclear reactor accident in April 1986.

Pripyat propaganda posters that never made it to the march by Tabithag
These Soviet propaganda posters had been collected in readiness for the 1 May workers day march in the model town of Pripyat. The March never took place, as Pripyat was the closest town to the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, and was abandoned in the days after the nuclear reactor accident in April 1986.
