Palenque 1994 - the summer after the Zapatista uprising. The temple is sitting on the edge of the Chiapas hills, overlooking the plains of Tabasco. Because of the zapatista trouble, there are almost no tourists in town. At night we hear the whop whop of helicopters patrolling the jungle, looking for subcommandante Marcos and his liberation army.
