Exhibit in the Crypt of St. Denis holding his severed head. by Beausoleil Star this if you like it!
One of several exhibits at Basilique Cathédrale de Saint-Denis. St. Denis is always depicted holding his severed head. Saint Denis supposedly picked up his head after being decapitated and walked six miles while preaching a sermon of repentance the entire way. He is easy to find above the door into Notre Dame de Paris as he holds his head.
