I don't know his name, but just an honest man, most Moroccan Grand taxi drivers will ask foreign tourists for an extortionate fare in the absence of a meter, in this case a journey from Port Tanger Med to Tangier city centre, a journey of around 30 miles, The Grand taxis on the rank at the port always state 250 dirhams for this journey, but as I was waiting at the highway bus stop for the Alsa bus to Tangier, this cabbie stopped and picked me up, charging only 20 dirhams, I was so impressed at his integrity I gave him a10 dirham tip which brought a smile to his tired face.
