The shrine of the Sufi Aissaoua brotherhood, Rue Sidi Laghazy, an eccentric sect who have the ability to walk on hot coals, eat scorpions and snakes and perform ritual trances and self-mutilation. Because of their acquired immunity to poisonous snake venom they are often asked to clear snakes from rural villages to avoid children at play being bitten.
