In the notorious Hotel Ibn Batouta, Rue Magellan, Tangier, ( now demolished) .....refugees from the annual religious fast, hide out in the basement where they can smoke their prohibition cigarettes of dubious composition, and eat their bread and cheese during the forbidden daylight hours.
